The City of Estevan Leisure Services Division would like to announce that City Wide Registration will be held on Tuesday, April 4th from 5:30 to 8:30 pm on the walking track at Affinity Place.

City Wide Registration Night is attended by Estevan residents wanting information about Adult and Children groups, organizations and activities that happen within our city during the Spring and Summer seasons.

Organizations that will be in attendance are: Estevan Public Library, Souris Valley Theatre, Estevan Youth Soccer, Estevan Golden Eels Swimming Club, TS & M Woodlawn Junior Golf, Estevan Drone Racing, Estevan Public Youth Centre, Challenger Baseball, OM Yoga Studio and and Starfish Swimming Canada Swimming Lesson registration.

During the evening’s event, the Estevan Leisure Centre’s multi purpose room will hold Prairie Lithium’s community engagement open house. Prairie Lithium is working to develop its lithium brine resource here in Southeast Saskatchewan, through the utilization of existing oil and gas infrastructure and working with local contractors.

Direct extraction of lithium from brines is a new industry that is evolving quickly, and they are one of the companies leading that evolution in Canada. Community members are encouraged to attend and learn more about the work they do, the growing industry and how they play a role in our community. The open house will be held 5:30-8:30 pm on April 4th, alongside City Wide Registration.
