Public Notice - Proposed Bylaw No.1/2023 Amend Urban Forestry Bylaw No. 15/2007

Public Notice is hereby given that the Council of the City of Yorkton intends to consider approving Bylaw No. 1/2023, to amend the Urban Forestry Bylaw No. 15/2007 at the April 24, 2023 Regular Council Meeting.  The proposed Urban Forestry Bylaw amendment will include changes to increase the variety of trees to diversify and preserve our urban forest.

City Council will hear all persons who are present and wish to speak to the bylaw and all written submissions will be read verbatim aloud unless the submitter is in attendance to speak on the submission, on Monday, April 24, 2023 in City Hall Council Chambers, Yorkton, Saskatchewan at 5:00 p.m. 

Any written submissions must be received by 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 and must be directed to Jessica Matsalla, City Clerk.
