Intent: Bylaw No. 13-2023, Public Notification and Advertising Bylaw

To establish alternate methods of public notification and advertising.

Background: The City of Lloydminster currently has a process of providing all mandatory advertising in the local newspaper. With recent amendments to The Lloydminster Charter, there is an opportunity to allow alternate methods, which may include electronic means. To address the recent changes to legislation, Administration has prepared a draft Public Notification and Advertising Bylaw to support additional options for advertising and public notification.

How do I get more information?

The draft bylaw can be reviewed online at Lloydminster.ca/bylaw13-2023. For more information, please contact Legislative Services at 780-871-8328.

How can I be a part of the Public Hearing?

Anyone wishing to present at the public hearing, either verbally or in writing, concerning this bylaw may do so during the City Council with or without notice at the meeting specified below. Please notify Legislative Services by 2 p.m. on Monday, April 17, 2023, to provide a submission for the agenda. All submissions will become part of the permanent public record.
